Chicken and Wild Rice Casserole

1 box wild rice mix, cooked according to package directions (slightly less water)
3 cups cooked, cubed chicken
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup
2 cups French-style green beans, thawed and drained
½ cup mayonnaise
1 cup water chestnuts, drained and chopped
2 tablespoons soy sauce
salt and pepper to taste

1 small can french fried onions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl, combine cooked rice, chicken, soup, green beans, mayo, water chestnuts, soy sauce and salt and pepper. Mix well. Transfer to a 9x13 pan.

Bake in preheated oven 25 minutes. Top with French fried onions and bake an additional 5 minutes.


Makes 10 servings
