Chocolate Dipped Strawberries
1 bag Milk Chocolate Chips
1 bag Semisweet Chocolate Chips
1 ounce White Chocolate
25 large Strawberries
Wash strawberries well. Dry or allow to dry, they must be completely dry before dipping.
Place a metal bowl over a pan of boiling water (bottom of bowl should not touch water) and add the chocolate chips. Stir constantly until chocolate has melted and remove pan from heat.
Dip strawberries in chocolate until coated (you will only need one coat) and place onto waxed paper and allow to cool. When cooled, transfer strawberries to cookie sheet lined with waxed paper (while cooling a lot of chocolate will settle, moving to another sheet will remove excess chocolate) Refrigerate until set.
Melt white chocolate and transfer to a plastic bag. Cut a small hole in one corner and drizzle the chocolate over the strawberries.
Refrigerate. Remove from refrigerator at least 15 minutes before serving. Remove wax paper and place on serving dish.
Makes 25 Strawberries
Ready in appx 45 minutes
Note on chocolate: You can use all milk or all semisweet chocolate according to your taste preference. And the better quality chocolate produces better results.
