Hamburger Stroganoff
Nothing fancy, but still a favorite!
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
2 cans Cream of Mushroom soup
1 cup milk
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain and transfer to bowl. (or boil and drain)
Saute onion in same skillet until tender, add garlic and mushrooms and cook until mushrooms are done. Return ground beef to skillet.
Add soups and enough milk to make a creamy consistency. Cook until hot and bubbly. Salt and Pepper to taste.
Serve over hot rice or egg noodles.
Makes 6 servings
