Hummus
(from Dorothy's friend)

2 cans chick peas drained but save liquid
2 teaspoons salt
2 to 3 cloves garlic cut in half
¾ cup tahini
1/3 cup lemon juice

Put all ingredients in a food processor and process until blended. Taste for salt and lemon juice. Adjust to taste. Mixture should be creamy. Add reserved liquid until it is the proper texture, like a dip.

Serve in a wide mouth bowl and garnish with olive and oil and sprinkle with red pepper or paprika. Serve with warm pita bread or pita chips.
