D's Cranberry Salad

1 bag fresh cranberries (12 ounce)

1 cup sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
12 ounces seedless grapes, halved
1 cup whipping cream

Grind cranberries in food processor until small but not liquefied.  Fold in sugar.


Place in sieve over bowl and cover and let drain for at least 8 hours or overnight.  Discard liquid.


In a large bowl, add cranberries, pecans and grapes and stir together.


Whip cream to stiff peaks.  Gently fold into cranberry mixture.


Refrigerate until ready to serve.

**To make THM S -- follow recipe without sugar and grapes, when mixing chopped cranberries, pecans and whipped cream add powdered sugar alternative to taste.
