Best Brownies

1 cup butter
2 cups white sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon baking powder

6 tablespoons butter, softened
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups confectioners sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9x13 pan.

In a large saucepan, melt butter. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat in cocoa, flour, salt and baking powder. Spread into prepared pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Do not overcook.

To Make Frosting: Combine butter, cocoa, honey, vanilla and sugar. Frost brownies while they are still warm.


Makes 32 brownies.
