Chocolate Frosting

1 cup butter, room temperature
2/3 cup cocoa powder
3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Whip butter and cocoa powder until mixed well.   Alternately add powdered sugar and milk, beating on medium speed until light and fluffy.  Add more milk, if needed.  Mix in vanilla.


Makes enough to frost 1 2-layer cake
