Strawberry Freezer Jam
2 pounds strawberries
1 1/3 cups of sugar (try just 2/3 cup and see if it works)
4 Tablespoons of Ball brand “Real Fruit Instant Pectin”
Wash, stem, and mash 2 pounds of strawberries.
In a separate bowl, briskly wisk sugar and pectin.
Add the sugar and pectin mixture to mashed strawberries and
stir for 3 minutes making sure to scrape sides and bottom of bowl.
Pour into desired containers that can freeze and let it set
for 30 minutes before freezing.
Makes about 4 half pints (or 4.5 cups) of jam.
