Creamy Noodle Soup
*the boys request this when they are sick

4 tablespoons butter
4 carrots, peeled and chopped to bite size chunks
2 stalks celery, chopped to bite size chunks
4 tablespoons flour
4 cups chicken broth
2 cups whole milk
1 teaspoon salt (add more to taste)
½ teaspoon pepper (to taste)
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 cup Kluski egg noodles

In a pot, melt butter over medium heat.  Add carrots and celery and cook until softened.  Mix in flour and cook 1 minute.  Stir in chicken broth and milk and bring to a boil.  Season with salt, pepper and onion powder.  Add egg noodles, reduce to simmer and cook 16-18 minutes, stirring every few minutes, until noodles are cooked through.  Serve.

**Next time try adding some Herbes de Provence.  Saw a recipe that added this and they said it made it extra special.  Worth a try!
