Creamy Noodle Soup
*the boys request this when they are sick
4 tablespoons butter
4 carrots, peeled and chopped to bite size chunks
2 stalks celery, chopped to bite size chunks
4 tablespoons flour
4 cups chicken broth
2 cups whole milk
1 teaspoon salt (add more to taste)
½ teaspoon pepper (to taste)
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 cup Kluski egg noodles

In a pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add carrots and celery and cook until
softened. Mix in flour and cook 1
minute. Stir in chicken broth and milk and
bring to a boil. Season with salt,
pepper and onion powder. Add egg
noodles, reduce to simmer and cook 16-18 minutes, stirring every few minutes,
until noodles are cooked through. Serve.
**Next time try adding some Herbes de Provence. Saw a recipe that added this and they said it
made it extra special. Worth a try!
