Chicken Salsa Verde Soup

4 cups chicken broth
1 12oz jar salsa verde
1 pound chicken breasts
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
2 15oz cans corn, drained
2 15oz cans cannellini beans, drained
1 4oz can diced green chiles
a few shakes of hot sauce
juice of 1 lime

Place chicken broth, salsa, chicken and seasonings in a pot and bring to a boil.  Simmer 20 minutes then remove the chicken and dice.  Return chicken to the pot along with corn, beans and green chiles.  Simmer 10 more minutes.  Add hot sauce and lime juice and taste -- adjust any seasonings if needed. 

Top with cheese, more lime, avocado, sour cream, cilantro and tortilla chips if desired.

Serve.
